Our Mission:
Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful is dedicated to establishing greener communities through environmental education, litter prevention, and voluntary partnerships.
Request cardboard boxes that can be used for trash or recycling at events.
Request litter supplies or join one of our litter reduction programs.
Our volunteers make a difference for our local wildlife, neighborhoods, environment, & the greater Toledo/Lucas County Community.
Youth & adult educational programing is available with learning standards in mind.
Special Recycling Collections
Special recycling collections keep unnecessary waste out of our landfill and preserve natural resources!
From May 1st to June 6th, you can drop off clean and dry (no dirt!) greenhouse containers at any of the participating greenhouse locations listed below:
- Bench Farms – 9151 Jerusalem Rd, Curtice, OH 43412
- Black Diamond Toledo – 1964 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613
- Black Diamond Waterville – 7714 Dutch Rd, Waterville, OH 43566
- Louis Keil & Sons – 9022 Central Ave, Sylvania, OH 43560
We are collecting boat shrink wrap for recycling at our office, 1011 Matzinger Road, Toledo OH on the following dates:
- Tuesday, May 6th - from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
- Monday, May 19th - from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
- Saturday, June 7th - from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM
