Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful ensures that unnecessary waste is diverted from our landfill. Therefore, throughout the year we hold recycling/composting collections for the items listed below.

Special Recycling & Compost Collections

Pumpkin & Gourd Composting

Starting Saturday, November 1st and ending Sunday, December 7th we are accepting pumpkins and gourds for composting.

Candy Wrapper Recycling

Starting Saturday, November 1st and ending Monday, December 1st we are collecting candy wrappers for recycling.

Please bring your candy wrappers to any YMCA of Greater Toledo location.

Yard Sign Recycling

Starting Tuesday, November 4th and ending Monday, December 1st we are collecting yard signs for recycling.

Drop-off locations are to be determined.

Boat Shrink Wrap Recycling

Before setting sail, recycle your boat wrap! At our collection event, residents are invited to stop by and recycle their boat shrink wrap.
