Friendship Park Tree Planting


What can’t trees do?? They clean our air provide oxygen, prevent flooding, cool neighborhoods, and better health outcomes - just to name a few benefits!


Volunteer with us to plant trees at Friendship Park (2930 131st St., Toledo OH) on Sunday October 11th from 9AM to 12PM. Please sign up below!

Crossing Summit Litter Cleanup & Tree Planting


On Saturday October 24th, join us for a very special event! Crossing Summit will be full of community connection, environmental action, and fun, family friendly activities. The event will kick off with a litter cleanup and tree planting from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at Ostrich Towne. 


From 11:00AM to 2:00PM, attendees can enjoy:


  • Free play at Toledo Pickle (1030 Water St)
  • Metroparks Toledo climbing wall and activities
  • A public art demonstration from the 100 Works of Public Art team
  • Resources from various local environmental, health, and community partners
  • Food available at Ostrich Towne and Toledo Pickle (not included)



Volunteer for Tree Pruning!


Planting trees helps grow a greener community - but proper care ensures they thrive for years to come. That's why we're partnering with the City of Toledo to prune and maintain young trees. Whether you're an experienced arborist or brand new to tree care, everyone is welcome. City of Toledo Forestry Staff will be in attendance to teach proper pruning and maintenance techniques.
