Support Local Green Initiatives

Donating to Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful improves our community's environmental wellbeing while ensuring that we are making local sustainable progress that benefits Northwest Ohio for generations to come.


Annually, we help recycle 756 tons of aluminum, 1,583 tons of glass, 2,646 tons of plastic & 1,886 tons of paper.  For every $10 donated, we therefore save 11 gallons of oil, 80 hours of electricity, 130 gallons of water, & 1/2 a tree!


We provide education on environmental stewardship and correct recycling to youth, high school students, colleges, and adult groups. These programs are all free of charge. Each donation of $50 helps us inspire 30 youth. teens, or adults, to improve their sustainable habits!


Yearly, we distribute about 10,000 bags, 5,000 gloves, 300 safety vests, and 1,000 litter tongs. A donation of $100 helps us outfit nearly 100 people with litter supplies!
