Auditor Anita Lopez will award one lucky dog in Lucas County the honor of wearing the #1 dog tag for 2009. Enter to win by submitting your favorite picture of your dog from December 1, 2008 – January 16, 2009. LEVY ESTIMATOR UPDATED FOR NOVEMBER 4 ELECTION

The Levy Estimator and Tax Distributor, features on our AREIS website, are updated to reflect the county levies that will appear on the November 4 ballot. This feature allows a homeowner to estimate their change in taxes if their respective levies pass.

FORFEITED LAND SALE

The Forfeited Land Sale will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the sale will commence at 10:00 a.m. The sale will be held in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room on the first floor of One Government Center. Due to limited seating capacity, only the first 160 registrants will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.
