The Lucas County Engineer’s Office has various road, bridge and drainage projects under construction on
the 300 mile county road system. The department also provides construction inspection services for
subdivision construction and various projects on township roads for the eleven Lucas County townships.
All of this work is outside of the cities and villages. If you have a question or need information
concerning construction along any county or township road, please contact the Lucas County Engineer’s
Office at 213-4540 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Any road construction and maintenance repairs including potholes, crack sealing and other problems on
the county road system which may be dangerous to pedestrians or vehicles should be reported to the Road
Maintenance Department 24 hours a day at 893-2232. Persons reporting requests for services should
provide their name, address, telephone number and location of the requested repair along with as much
detailed information as possible concerning the problem.
